We learned about island formation. Sand washes around the island moving it over time. But even more exciting is that long ago the sand we were standing on was part of the Appalachian Mountains. So we were at the beach and the mountains at the same time!
We saw jelly fish, crabs, different shells. And we ran on the beach.
